Worshipping God

Following Jesus

Sharing His Love

also known as
Housegroups or Homegroups

It doesn't matter what you call them, but they are the key to any church that wants to grow, providing an opportunity for church members to meet together informally in smaller groups. St Michael's has an number of cell groups meeting across Ledbury.
This is what we do:

It is through reading and studying the Bible, and listening to each other, that God speaks to us.
As we learn more about God and ourselves we become more confident about sharing our faith with others.

There is always an opportunity to pray for each other, for other church members
and issues, the wider community of Ledbury and the world.

A cell group will build friendships, and contribute towards that wider feeling of fellowship within the family of the church.   No one should ever be lonely.

One of the results of getting to know each other is that we care for one another.
In this way the pastoral care in the church is a shared responsibility for all members.

If we can pray together, we can also play together.
We share a meal, or go on a trip - anything!   In other words, have some fun.

That sounds fine, but it is important to know that cell groups are not inward looking cliques.
As a result, we want to be outward looking, and part of the essential mission of the church, involved in serving others and sharing the Gospel, as well as worshipping together with all church members.
The groups do not remain static and we encourage some cross- fertilisation from time to time.
Why not give it a try?

Cell groups meet on various days and times.
We hope to start new groups on different days and at different times.
